Secure Control of DC Microgrids for Instant Detection and Mitigation of Cyber-Attacks Based on Artificial Intelligence

DC microgrids can be operated under a hierarchical control strategy, and it needs communication-based layer. The implementation of digital controllers the communication infrastructure make dc microgrid vulnerable to cyber-attacks. This article introduces an approach based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) detect mitigate cyber-attacks in microgrid. proposed method is artificial neural network (ANN), which categorized as AI-based method. application implements ANN false data injection attacks (FDIAs). FDIAs try inject into system affect microgrid, shut down calculate value data, remove attack simultaneously. tested MATLAB/Simulink environment. Also, have more accurate results, introduced examined different conditions cyber/physical disturbances (e.g., delay, noise, plug-and-play additional units, time-varying FDIAs). Besides, comparison considered evaluate effectiveness strategy. obtained results conclusively prove effectiveness, accuracy, authenticity successfully cyber-attack.
